As current and future leaders in all walks of life, how we come across both verbally and non-verbally makes a huge difference in our own self-confidence and our credibility and influence with others.
In fact, according to a recent Harvard Business Review survey, “Appearance” and “Superior Speaking Skills” are two of the six most important leadership traits that high-level executives selected from a list of 25.
In our interactive, practical and fun virtual workshop “Energize Your Presence: dress so that you can be seen; speak so that you can be heard”, participants will learn how to:
1. Dress according to the Five Elements (Water, Wood, Earth, Fire and Metal) and your unique personality to attract what you desire in life and leave a positive impression. Learn how to show up for online and in-person audiences, how to use non-distracting backgrounds for video calls and presentations, what colors and outfits to wear, etc.
2. Speak in a way that is timed right, exudes confidence and commands attention and respect without the use of gimmicks, jokes or jargon. This segment will focus on your natural strengths as an orator, presenter, facilitator, moderator and/or conversationalist, turning that nerve-wracking one-minute elevator pitch or five-minute management team pitch into a flowing expression of who you really are, what you do best and what you can be and do in the future.
This workshop will take place on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 8:30 to 11:30am PST in Portland, Oregon or 17h30 to 20h30 CEST in Paris, France. It is custom designed and co-facilitated by Jeremy Solomons in Rwanda and Lillian Tsai in the USA.
